Your injustice blog was very interesting to me. For one, I’m sorry to hear what happened during high school. But Im glad that students like you actually spoke up about this unfairness within the staff and students. Its not okay for anybody to not call somebody by their name. After i read your post i seriously though it was just racism but then it makes me wonder how that person could even think about doing that! Or how they live thinking it’s okay to call students by their color or race . In the end, Im glad you were the one that actually decided to speak up and bring this to the deans attention. You for sure did the right thing.

Hello, Jung-Shan
After reading your post and many others from class i realized how high school and middle school was a nightmare for many of us. Therefore, i really admire how people speak up when it comes to inappropriate behaviors, racism, or just discrimination. As a society we should no better on how to respect anybody no matter if it’s a child, teen, adult and elder. We are equal. Yet, many of us don’t think so.
Im sorry to hear how you had to go through this. But the best thing you dud was speak and asked for help. Especially unite with other classmates to support each other. Its tough to go against a teacher or any education staff just because “they are educated” or “they are the bosses”or as many say ” they are just strict” . But at times and in your case he or she was being unfair with you . And that’s injustice.

Hello, after reading your post about believing in parallel between the prisoners Plato talks about and the spectators in a cinema I totally agree with you. For the most part not even the cinema shows us but its the social media around us. For example, we hear about insurance companies not charging a lot of money and informing us with little knowledge about the insurance and the cheapest plan they can offer us. Therefore, i totally agree on how media, cinema can definitely make us think the truth. but its not always in this case.

Hi ,after reading your injustice blog Ive had many encounters with cashiers that were white and myself as a Latina they’ve treated me differently. I agree how that white person would definitely change her attitude if any other person would come up to her and isn’t white , she would act differently, well some not everybody is racist. But with that being said it makes everybody feel unequal because i know that’s how i felt after having that same situation happen to me.

I really enjoyed how you wrote the Plato The Republic: Book X summary because I thought about it the same way. For instance, Plato describes the “the idea of bed” how only God is the creator of the physical world. I agree and in my point of view I agree how God is and will always be the first creator. Yet I understand how many religions and other cultures don’t have the same belief. I respect that but I also expect people to respect my belief. Overall, great blog i totally understood very clearly with your examples you provided.
Thank you.

I agree with you how nowadays media, technology present falseness or drama. In general, i do believe how the media now can put a false image of anything or anybody and make us either compare one another by that photography, and make us feel unequal. For instance, many of us have social media such as instagram and follow many people that at times we don’t even know them, or at times we follow them because of what they post on their timelines. Theres nothing wrong but I’ve noticed how many of us try to convince others by showing off what they post on their instagram timelines or stories, For instance, we could like somebody’s post that share with us how they can travel, or own the most expensive brand shoes, clothing, jewelry etc. But It gets me thinking how those people that do this are trying to convince us and let us know what they have, when in reality not everybody cares about those things. Instead, of convincing and showing us a picture that may or may not be true we should think about our physical world how we’re living in the present and there are more important things in life that sharing with the world than your hundred dollar shoes or expensive brands you own.

Overall, great blog. I agree with Platos hierarchical scheme. But your last comment on your blog had me thinking on how literally watching this film and once it was over how I second guessed everything that was happening in my present life. Like you stated I don’t know if this world is actually the real world. Who knows exactly. But although in this film they were playing the game and at the end they realize it was just the game, not reality, it gets me thinking how a simple game can confuse us and make us believe in the unreal.

( I tried commenting and copying but it didn’t let me on his blog. This student in is Tuesdays and Thursday class. ) https://bigboibloggs.home.blog/2019/02/28/whats-a-bed/#respond I really liked your blog I agree with you how art of imitation can be different for every artist. Everybody has different opinion about art which I agree. Somebody can say something is art when others don’t consider pieces or objects being art. I enjoyed reading your blog.

Great job on this blog. Your pictures you shared were very interesting and after you shared this with the class how many students had different opinions about it or different statements to say. Overall, I agree with you on how you consider this artist because i feel the same way when i look at both of your images about race. Great presentation.

Great blog you shared. t was very easy to understand how you explained Descartes words. therefore, i agree with you how he describes the certain laws for example you used 2 plus 2 equal four. But yet there are other things how he doesn’t think are certain. One of them that i thought was very interesting was how he gives us the doubt of dreaming and not knowing its actually a dream. In my opinion i agree with you how im not so certain about that because how would we know if we are dreaming right now. Yes you could pinch yourself and obviously it will hurt you but how or who knows when your imagination/dreams will occur. Or how do we know Descartes is right, it could be just his own imagination and his own words that make us believe that dreams and our imagination are not certain.

I enjoyed reading your blog post about Descartes definition of certainty and always being certain. Yet ourselves how you stated we believe in scriptures which i totally agree with you. In addition i agree with you how our mind and soul at times need resting, in other words the mind needs rest and meditation. We can’t keep upping the same person, or not getting enough rest and expect our body, soul, and mind to respond 100 percent all the time. Instead, like you said we need time to rest. To give it a break from the world.

I enjoyed reading your blog, very clear and straight forward. After our professor explained the reading I felt exactly the same “what is the point to be successful or continue my education”. Yes our minds can feel this way because there’s no motivation thats pushing us to succeed, but we can also try or at least keep up with the worlds thoughts, goals, personal goals, to succeed in life. Not going to lie after reading the whole text, I can definitely agree and say that I have felt this way in the past but Ive gone passed it and tried to keep up day by day.
Overall great blog.

I enjoyed reading your blog. First of all the movie was very interesting and it had me questioning how our minds can kinda confuse us and not know exactly what to do. For instance, you mentioned when Leonard has a picture of John G. and he wrote “kill me” which i thought was a good idea, because he would remember exactly who the person was. But, his mirrors were getting confused and he struggled since he thought something else. Which makes me realize how our mirrors can get us thinking something else or at time we can’t remember exactly what happened, or what the goal is. For example, you mentioned your tattoos you have in memory, which I can agree those are permanently on your skin and you won’t ever forget the message behind those tattoos. It’s understandable. Great blog post.
